Bess is a terrific doe. She has earned her Grand Champion status. She comes from good Wisconsin lineage and is a distinctive look compared to many Eastern rabbits. She and Guenther got together and in November, Bess produced five terrific kits in the SMB litter. Four of the five are spoken for, and we're keeping SMB05, Beau Beau was Best Junior Buck at 2010 Nationals in Missouri. Look for Bess to keep on producing great kits!
Bess now has six champion legs and some of her kits with the late Guenther are winning all up and down the East Coast. In fact, Grace, SMH10, also has six legs, and right now has six KITS! Grandma Bess is quite proud, though as solid as she is at three-plus years old, she thinks she could probably beat her daughter, Grace in a head-to-head matchup.
She does admire her son-in-law, Nutsy, who has eight legs and is working on more.
